Résumé : La gestion quotidienne d’un jardin remarquable avec la problématique des ravageurs du buis que sont la pyrale et la cylindrocladiose. Sur un domaine ouvert au public sept jours sur sept, toute l’année, avec un niveau qualitatif très élevé et une réputation bien établie. Recevant des visiteurs, venant du monde entier, ayant une bonne connaissance des jardins et en demande d’information permanente. En tentant de maîtriser divers facteurs pas forcément compatibles tels que l’arrosage des pelouses et la cylindrocladiose ou les traitements contre la pyrale et son expansion fulgurante et la météo. En essayant de sauvegarder la qualité phytosanitaire de topiaires de plusieurs dizaines d’années. En privilégiant, si possible, les traitements écologiques, le respect des règles de l’art et de la réglementation en vigueur, en utilisant les méthodes culturales appropriées et au final, avec l’espoir de revoir, un jour, nos buis en bonne santé.

Abstract : The daily management of an Outstanding Garden with the box pests such as the cylindrocladium and the box tree moth : In a garden which is open to the public 7 days a week and all year long, with a high-quality level and a well-established reputation, Welcoming worldwide visitors, with a good knowledge about gardens, and constantly looking for information, Trying to manage a variety of factors that are not always compatible such as watering the lawns and the cylindrocladium, or the treatments against the box tree moth huge expansion and the weather conditions, Trying to preserve the phytosanitary quality of topiaries that are several decades old, Trying to favor as much as possible organic treatments, according to the book and to the current regulation, using the appropriate cultivation methods, with the hope in the end of getting our boxes healthy again at some point.
